Enhanced experiences
Better connections between terminals, smoother operations, and improved access to transport and services will make getting around the airport simpler and more convenient.
Sustainable growth
All terminal and airfield upgrades will follow leading sustainability standards to reduce environmental impacts.
Flexibility
Adding new facilities like extra parking stands, so we can handle different types of aircraft and meet changing travel demands across international, domestic and regional flights.
Continual investment
Investment into ongoing upgrades and enhancements will improve operational efficiency across the airport.
T1 International Operations Precinct
We’re progressively expanding the T1 International Operations Precinct to meet future demand and create a smoother, more seamless travel experience.
Over the coming years, we’ll deliver new facilities, smarter systems and better connections — boosting capacity, improving flexibility and enhancing the overall passenger journey through T1.
This proposed upgrade will aim to deliver improved comfort, efficiency and flexibility for millions of passengers each year, better accommodating the growth aspirations of our airlines and providing our passenger with more choice.
Together, these developments will make travelling through T1 faster and easier, now and into the future.
T2/T3 Integrated Operations
To meet growing demand over the next 20 years, we’re planning a major expansion of the T2/T3 terminal precinct — creating a new Integrated Terminal that will make it easier than ever to move between regional, domestic and international flights.
This upgrade will deliver improved comfort, efficiency and flexibility for millions of passengers each year. We’re introducing smarter security processes, automated passenger services and better facilities, while expanding our capacity to handle more flights, more destinations and a greater variety of aircraft.
The plan also builds on our current $200 million T2 upgrade, which is already improving the airport experience with faster check-ins, enhanced security and more modern amenities.
Together, these projects will transform T2/T3 into a single, seamless precinct designed for the future of travel.
