Overview
Located 8 km from Sydney’s CBD, we are Australia’s international gateway – connecting the city to more than 100 destinations across the country and the world.
Since 1919, Sydney Airport has connected people, places and communities, supporting the creation of new jobs and contributing to Australia’s thriving tourism and freight industries.
During the first 100 years of airport operations, the airport serviced one billion passengers. By 2045, two billion passengers are expected to have travelled through the airport.
